The Recharge: Women’s Technology Safety project was a collaboration between Women’s Legal Service NSW, DVRCV and WESNET. Funded by ACCAN, this 2015 project expanded the work of the SmartSafe project Australia-wide through a national survey, a review of all relevant legislation, and development of training programs.
WESNET developed Webinars for practitioners working with women experiencing technology abuse.
Women’s Legal Service NSW developed legal guides around relevant laws relating to technology abuse in all States and Territories in Australia. The legal guides are available here.
DVRVC undertook a survey of 500 domestic violence practitioners and found an almost complete overlap between technology abuse and domestic and family violence. You can find the survey results here.
